Susan Williams lives on a farm near Montezuma, Kansas with her husband, Orville. Living in Western Kansas all her life she was educated in the Copeland Schools and later earned her Bachelor and Master Degrees from Fort Hays State University. After 24 years of being the library media specialist in the Montezuma and Copeland School systems, Susan retired to help her husband on the corn and seed wheat farm and to spend more time with her five grandchildren.
Susan is active in the Montezuma United Methodist Church as the Choir Director and Chairman of the Council on Ministries. Presently, Susan is serving as Chairman of the Montezuma Hospital District. Volunteering in a variety of organizations in many different roles has been an important part of her adult life. One of Susan's favorite activites is to host a monthly book club.
Susan and her husband consider raising their three daughters as their greatest achievement. Jill is a music therapist in Albuquerque, Tracy is a family practice doctor in Wichita, and Beth is a Division Director at Robert Half Management Resources in Des Moines.
