Liz Sosa was born and raised in southwest Kansas, and splits her time between Garden City and Topeka. She is a graduate of Fort Hays State University with a degree in business and leadership. She serves as CEO for Public Square Communities, a community process development organizations, co-owns a gift shop in downtown Garden City, and also works with the Kansas Sampler Foundation as a PowerUp Liaison which connects and engages 21-39 year olds in rural communities throughout the state. She provides lobbying services for a legislative affairs company in Topeka and is active as a staff member for the Leadership Kansas program. Liz serves on the Sunflower Foundation board of trustees and previously served two terms on the Western Kansas Community Foundation and one term on the Kansas Hispanic and Latino American Affairs Commission.
