Scholarships

Because of passionate donors, the Western Kansas Community Foundation holds many scholarships for students who desire to further their education once graduated from High School.  Many statistics link a college degree with higher paying jobs and a better chance at financial success in life.

Anne Campbell Memorial Scholarship 

(For High School Graduates from Finney or Scott County, KS. who wish to pursue a Nursing Degree)

Bernadine Sitts Scholarship

(For Garden City High School graduates who attended the Bernadine Sitts Intermediate Center)

Bud Ward Family Scholarship

(For High School graduates from Oakley, KS., Triplains, KS. or Brewster, KS.)

Charles Helfrich Memorial Scholarship

(For graduates from a Gray County High school, which are:  Cimarron, Ingalls or Montezuma)

Chase Mitchel Webber Memorial Scholarship

(For graduates of Sublette, KS. High School)

Duane Nichols Memorial Scholarship

(For graduates of Holcomb High School and graduates of Norwayne High School in Creston, OH.)

Ron Peek Memorial Scholarship

(For Finney County graduates who are children of employees of Finney County Police Department, Sherrif Department, Fire Department, EMSor State Troopers residing in Finney County)

Garden City Wrestling Alumni Scholarship

(For graduates of Garden City High School who participated in the wrestling program)

Jan McLeland Memorial Scholarship

(For graduates of Sublette, KS. High School)

Katherine C. Jones Scholarship

(For Holcomb High School graduates)

Katherine C. Jones Continuing Education Scholarship

(For Holcomb High School graduates who have completed at least one year of post secondary school)

Sublette Rotary Club Scholarship

(For graduates of Sublette, KS. High School)
