Yazmin Moreno

Yazmin Moreno is a lifelong resident of Southwestern Kansas, being born and raised in Garden City, and now residing in Liberal with her family. She graduated from Western Governors University with a Bachelors in Business Administration-HR Management. She is currently attending a graduate program to obtain a Masters in Business Administration from Western Governors University. She is heavily involved with assisting her community in Liberal, Kansas, by being an active member of the Local Emergency Planning Committee, Emergency Operations Center, Joint Information Center, NACCHO (National Association of County and City Health Officials), KHALD (Kansas Association of Local Health Departments), Kansas Leadership Center, SW Kansas Health Initiative, Liberal Area Coalition for Families and former board member of Seward County United Way. She also is a current member of IPMA-HR and SHRM national chapters. She has worked for State and Local Government for several years in Human Resources, Public Health, Emergency Planning, Community Relations, and Marketing. She has a natural desire to help improve the lives of at-risk populations in Southwest Kansas and hopes to make a larger impact by being a part of the WKCF board.
