Katrina Lowry

Katrina Lowry was born and raised in Garden City. She is currently the Early Childhood Programs Director at Russell Child Development Center, leading a team of talented and compassionate individuals who provide early childhood services and parenting support in 19 Southwest Kansas counties. Katrina has worked for more than 22 years in the child development field. Prior to working at Russell Child Development Center, Katrina did early childhood systems work in Finney County with Project LAUNCH, the University of Kansas, and the Finney County Community Health Coalition, worked with toddlers at Fisher Early Learning Center in Denver, and was a Child Life Specialist at Wesley Medical Center and Shriners Hospital for Children – Houston, respectively. Katrina has a Master’s Degree in Liberal Studies with a Concentration in Arts and Literature from the University of Denver, a Bachelor’s Degree in Bible/Educational Ministry from Manhattan Christian College, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Studies and Human Services from Kansas State University.

Katrina lives in Garden City with her husband and their three dogs. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, live music, cross-stitching, and reading.
