Marvin Graber

Marvin was born in Colorado and raised in Syracuse, Kansas. His grandparents were farmers and ranchers, so he has a deep appreciation for the many challenges of living off the land and the ever-changing environment and conditions of Southwest Kansas. Upon graduation from the University of Kansas in 1982, he moved to Los Angeles and began a career in banking. After working at small independent banks in Los Angeles and at the World Trade Bank and Resolution Trust Company, he began working at Wells Fargo Bank where he has worked for the past 25 plus years.

After living and working in Los Angeles and San Francisco, he moved back to Kansas and Garden City in 2017 to be closer to family who have resided in Southwest Kansas their entire lives. Marvin’s current interests and hobbies include, doing what he can to actively support local music and arts, and being on the board of the annual Tumbleweed Festival. He enjoys visiting museums and art galleries of all sizes and varieties. Exploring art history, architecture and design, listening to most all types of music, traveling to destinations to see his favorite musicians perform, reading at least a book a week, driving rural back roads, catching up on the night sky and constellations and sharing all that life has to offer with his wife Christi.
