Anna Hemenway was born and raised in Eastern South Dakota and graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Dairy Manufacturing in 2018. After college she started working for Dairy Farmers of America in Kansas City, KS and moved to Garden City, KS in 2020 for a Process Technologist role in milk powders. Holcomb, KS has become her home where she has built a family with her fiancé and daughter.

Anna has been involved in the community as an Ambassador with the Garden City Area Chamber of Commerce since 2022. Through this she has spent much of her time volunteering for nonprofits. She is also involved with organizations such as Women in Manufacturing, IDFA, and ADPI as a dairy industry ambassador.

In her free time, Anna enjoys running, working out and coaching at the CrossFit gym. Anna also enjoys hobbies such as baking, traveling, crocheting, gardening, and loves to try new activities.
