Bailey was born and raised in Holcomb, Kansas. She graduated from Holcomb High School in 2017 and went on to study at Washburn University in Topeka. She graduated summa cum laude from Washburn with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2021.

After that, she received the opportunity to work for the Laura Kelly Administration in an administrative capacity. While she enjoyed her time working for the State, she began looking for new opportunities to further her career. She moved back to Garden City and began her time with WKCF in February of 2023. She is excited to be back in Southwest Kansas and is looking forward to working with her community to make it a better place to live.

In her free time, she likes to walk her dog, Astra, read books, and try new cooking recipes!
