Jennifer Jones
Jennifer Jones grew up in Liberal, Kansas. She graduated from Kansas State University in 1997, with a BS in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She then graduated from Fort Hays State University in 1999, with a MS in Speech Language Pathology. Jennifer has practiced as a SLP in western Kansas for 26 years, currently as a school-based SLP in Satanta, Lakin and Ulysses. Jennifer is a member of KSHA (Kansas Speech Hearing Association) and ASHA (American Speech Language Hearing Association). She has been a long-time leader of the Sherlock Strivers 4-H club, and has served on the Finney County extension board, Holcomb PTO, and Holcomb advisory committee.
Jennifer and her husband, Matthew, live west of Holcomb on their family’s cattle ranch. They have three daughters: Lauren, a SLP in Lenexa, KS; Paige, a student at KSU; and Halle, a student athlete at Bethany College. When not visiting her family, Jennifer enjoys attending church at Community Congregation Church, traveling, reading, cooking, and volunteering in the community. She is grateful for the opportunity to learn as well as serve the Foundation and its mission in SWKS.
