Leanne Howie, a native of southwest Kansas, has taught in Satanta for 25 years and currently serves as a reading interventionist at the elementary school. She and her husband, Brent, are proud parents of two daughters and grandparents to two granddaughters. Leanne serves on the Satanta Area Arts Council and also enjoys working at the public library during the summer and on occasional weekends. She loves reading, playing the piano, attending musicals and concerts, and enjoys traveling whenever she gets the chance.
