Michelle Komlofske is a lifetime resident of Finney County. She started at the Foundation in early 2025 after a previous career in banking. Michelle also served as the Executive Director of the WKCF from 2005 - 2008. Working in finance has been rewarding and having the opportunity to serve as Associate Director allows her to fully support and promote the mission of the WKCF. Giving back to the community where she grew up is an important priority.

Michelle graduated from St. Mary of the Plains College with a degree in Business Administration. She lives with her husband, Russ on their farm north of Holcomb. Together they have three adult children and five grandchildren.

One of Michelle's favorite things to do is manage an event venue called Moonlight Harvest. It is located between Garden City and Holcomb. She and her husband remodeled and repurposed an older barn to share with the southwest Kansas community. It serves as a space to celebrate special events, attend meetings and simply have a unique place to gather with friends and family.
