The WKCF offers a program called Legacy Planning at no cost. This service is for anyone who desires a trouble-free, inexpensive estate transfer from one generation to the next in addition to more complex estate plans including farm and business transition. Estate and gift planner Joshua Howard conducts the Foundation’s Legacy Planning program. Josh can help design a comprehensive personalized plan to carry out your wishes, provide successor management of an estate and distribute assets, including charitable provisions, all while keeping transfer costs and taxes to a minimum. The process is free thanks to sponsorship of the program provided by Commerce Trust Company, and the Western Kansas Community Foundation.
