Pat is a retired member of the Garden City community. She and her husband, Larry moved to Garden City in 1982 in search of work. They left the Ohio River valley and found a wonderfully made diverse community to call home. Pat worked in the beef industry, serving Tyson Foods as a human resources manager and community liaison. She retired in 2023 and continues to advocate for local non-profits. Her passions focus on food insecurity, health equity and acclimating new people coming to southwest Kansas in search of a better life.

Pat and Larry have two sons, daughters in law, six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Helping them grow into caring, loving people is a joy. Pat is an ordained elder of the Presbyterian Church of Garden City. She also serves on other boards in the community, continuing her work, advocating for the underserved.

Pat has served on the WKCF Board of Directors since January, 2021. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve the foundation and support its mission.
