Kimberly Shaddix

Kimberly was raised in Hugoton, KS and graduated from Hugoton High School. She furthered her education at Fort Hays State University earning a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance. Following graduation she started her career with the Office of the State Bank Commissioner in Topeka, KS as a Financial Institution Examiner. While working for the Office of the State Bank Commissioner she completed the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s four-year Certified Financial Auditor program and graduated with honors. Wanting to get back to her Southwest Kansas roots, she accepted a Trust Officer position with Fidelity State Bank in Garden City.

After working six years at the bank, she joined her family’s farming and alfalfa processing business, where she manages a large, irrigated farming and cow-calf operation located in Stevens, Haskell, Grant, Kearny, and Finney counties. She is a past member of the Garden City Family YMCA board, Finney County United Way board, and Southwind Country Club board. She has two children, Abbi and her husband Cody Worden who reside in Dodge City, KS, and Mason who resides in Moscow, KS. She loves spending time with her granddaughter Scottie.
