Scholarships
Because of passionate donors, the Western Kansas Community Foundation holds many scholarships for students who desire to further their education beyond from High School. Many statistics link a college degree with higher-paying jobs and a better chance at financial success in life. Many scholarships are determined by the WKCF board, and must be applied for through the online application system. However, there are other scholarships that are administered by the Foundation but awarded by external scholarship committees. Guidelines and additional details about how to apply for those scholarships can be found at the bottom of this page.
APPLICATIONS THROUGH THE ONLINE APPLICATION SYSTEM, INCLUDING ANY LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION, ARE DUE BY 11:59PM ON THE DAY OF THE DEADLINE, NO EXCEPTIONS.
We HIGHLY suggest you submit your application before the deadline in case of any technical difficulties, and to allow third-parties ample time to submit their letters of recommendation prior to the deadline.
Step 1
If you have not previously applied to the Western Kansas Community Foundation through this system, please watch the video below outlining how to access the system, set up a new account, and proceed through the application process.
