Scholarships

PLEASE BE INFORMED: The WKCF has implemented an online scholarship application system as of April 2020. All applicants wishing to apply for the first time to this system, will need to complete both Step 1 and Step 2 as described below in order to access the available applications.

Because of passionate donors, the Western Kansas Community Foundation holds many scholarships for students who desire to further their education once graduated from High School.  Many statistics link a college degree with higher-paying jobs and a better chance at financial success in life. Many scholarships are determined by the WKCF board, and must be applied for through the online application system. However, there are other scholarships that are administered by the Foundation but awarded by external scholarship committees. Guidelines and additional details about how to apply for those scholarships can be found at the bottom of this page.

APPLICATIONS THROUGH THE ONLINE APPLICATION SYSTEM ARE DUE BY 5:00PM ON THE DAY OF THE DEADLINE, NO EXCEPTIONS.

We HIGHLY suggest you submit your application before the deadline in case of any technical difficulties.

Step 1

If you have not previously applied to the Western Kansas Community Foundation through this system, please watch the video below outlining how to access the system, set up a new account, and proceed through the application process. If you have previously applied to us through this system, please feel free to bypass the video and move on to Step 2 below.

Step 2

Click the button below to log in or create a new account and begin the application process.

***If you do not receive an email notifying you of our receipt of your submission, your application has not gone through. Please re-enter the system and review your application for any missing required information, and submit. If the problem persists or you have additional questions about the application process or system, please don't hesitate to contact the office at 620-271-9484.
